I needed a heavy duty hole punch for the some prep work for running tabletop RPG's with our school-aged kids. This is fantastic it cuts right throught everything so that I can put them in nice binders. Works very well!

Works just as I’d hoped! I like that the pages have a flat place to press against so they all stay squared up. And even when it’s hard to push the pages all come out with a clean cut!

This heavy-duty 3-hole punch is a workhorse! It easily punches through 40 sheets of paper at once with minimal effort. The sturdy metal construction ensures it will last.

We do homeschool and often need to hole punch a bunch of paper at once for my kids' binders.

This works great for that. Super high capacity and works easy and smooth. Very happy with it.

It is a pretty big hole punch and not portable. But it's nice and I'm really happy with it.

Sooo much better than my old three hole puncher!!! It may seem pricey, but it really is heavy duty and I punched through 50 pages - 50 at a time, like butta. Very much worth the price for the time saving.

CON: Rubber underneath tray that collects holes is awkward to detach to toss holes. It'll be messy. (That said, hole puncher with flimsier trays leak holes when you move the puncher. This one won't.)

I give this a solid 5 stars and strong recommendation! It's a very good buy.

Fantastic punch! I am so excited for this hole punch! It is going to be put through the ringer in a high school classroom but I can already tell it will hold up and be a quality item. It is heavy, made very well and is the smoothest punch I think I have ever experienced. The slider to adjust page size is smooth and easy to operate. The press down handle is huge so for thicker stacks of paper it's much easier to get the proper leverage to cut all the way through. The bottom tray just pops off to empty but it is also HUGE and will hold a lot of paper dots. The bottom tray is also grippy so it doesn't slide around on counters/tables. This is absolutely worth every penny.

I have a metal 3 hole punch from Bostitch that is similar in size, is rated for 40 sheets at a time, and has a similar form factor to this punch. I tried the punches in direct comparison with each other. The AFMAT punch produced cleaner holes, with significantly less effort. The Bostitch punch required much more effort, then suddenly pushed through the paper, causing the whole unit to bounce on the table top. The resulting holes had much rougher edges. The AFMAT punch also includes an adjustable paper guide, while the Bostitch offers only one size setting.
This is a superior punch for a better price.

And then the puncher part would bind if anything was too thick. Well - NO Longer A Problem for sure! This hole puncher is fantastic and punches through multiple pieces of paper like it was butter. If you have grade school kids you need this hole puncher before they get to their middle school years and need to save *everything* for their binders. Especially the science classes where they binder check. You'll need this!

Great heavy-duty 40-page 3-hole punch. Well built. Easy to use with 1 page or 40. The guide is easy to access but slides out of the way and it has a little latch to lock the top down for easy storage.

Easily punches 15-20 sheets of 20lb letter paper. I can see 30 working as well, but I have not tried. The level arm gives plenty of power. Don't need to stand on this one.
The cut circles stay in the tray until you remove the cover. I had another puncher from a different brand that always shed some cuttings on the desk.
The one thing I would change is adjustable hole spacing, but since all my binders are standard, it really isn't necessary.
