If you use any type of pencil, you must have this sharpener. It saves time, works perfectly on every kind of pencil, and is fully automatic, so anyone in your home can use it. The sharpener is outstanding and built to last a long time. It comes in several beautiful colors and does not take up any more space on my desk than my large coffee mug.
This sharpener works on a huge variety of pencil sizes. It has an adjustment level to choose from. I just put the pencil in, and the rest is magic.
I use it on colored pencils, charcoal pencils, graphite pencils, and watercolor pencils. They all come out perfectly shaped and sharp. The machine does not waste my pencils. It does its job, and minimal amounts of any sort of pencil are ground off.

This is absolutely the best pencil sharpener on the planet! I bought it to use in my classroom.And my kids are going to be so impressed! You stick your pencil in, you don't have to continue to hold it.And it pops out when it's sharp! You can even adjust the sharpness level!

We’ve tried lots of different pencil sharpeners - there’s a teacher in our family and she’s frequently complaining about how students are breaking the classroom sharpeners (which are paid for by teachers). Needless to say, we know when we’ve found a winner, and AFMAT’s fully automatic sharpener is it.

Not having to deal with a power cable is great, and the sharpener’s vibrant red color is a perfect match to our favorite office stapler. But really, here’s the best part: the sharpener doesn’t require you to push down… just insert your pencil and the sharpener handles it carefully.

The pencil ejects after about five seconds, perfectly sharpened. The catch tray is easy to empty too, but it stays securely closed. The built-in carrying strap is interesting and unnecessary, but it gives some personality to what’s usually just an ordinary office device.

We’re keeping this sharpener for home use, because we like it that much.

I love this pencil sharpener!

I have a huge collection of colored pencils and I have tried a silly number of pencil sharpeners before, and I think this one is a keeper. The unit is tall and sleek with a nice carrying handle and LED illuminated viewing window. This is a fully automatic sharpener, meaning you stick a pencil into the device and let it go, the machine grabs it, pulls it down into the sharpener, and spits it back out once the pencil has been perfectly sharpened.

I have tested this unit on Prismacolor Premier, Prismacolor Scholar, Arrtx, Arteza, and Castle Arts pencils, as well as Marco Raffine (Though I forgot to take a picture of that one) and I love how each of them sharpen in this unit! The tips come out nicely pointed, though they do have a somewhat blunt tip even on the sharpest setting, rather than a razor sharp tip.

The device has never chewed up once of my pencils and does a really fantastic job at saving the length of the leads, meaning that if i stick a brand new pencil in there, the tip gets sharper, but the lead stays the exact same length, it's not eating the pencils up, just actually sharpening them.

The shavings do have to be emptied a lot, and this unit has a blade life of about 7000 sharpens, which is less than some other AFMAT units, but the battery life is great, the automatic feature prevents me from ever eating up my pencils, and the adjustable dials is a great feature for any artist. I do wish it had just one more setting to get the tips of the pencil ultra sharp, but I know that would just lead me to breaking my pencils more often, so it's probably a good thing it doesn't.

Overall, I really like this pencil sharpener and it has become my go-to. The price is great, it's very well made, you can get replacement blades, and it's even portable so you can take it with you anywhere, definitely recommended!

This sharpener is amazing and fun! It was very easy to set up. I plugged it right in and the light on the front turned red to tell me that it was charging. I was so excited to try it, so I used it while it was charging. You put the pencil it, it does it's job, and the pencil comes back up when it's done. The point is perfect every time! I would highly recommend this sharpener. It's going to work well in my classroom!

I use Prisma color pencils and find it really annoying how easily the lead breaks when sharpening it, but this device effectively solves that problem. It is portable, rechargeable, and super easy to use. In the video below it shows me demonstrating how it sharpens to a fine point a prisma color pencil. I love that this is portable and can be emptied easily with a twist off top. This is truly a perfect device for an artist, student or architect. LOVE IT

A selection of various points is available from sharp to round blunted. The sharpener is heavy to sit sturdy while in operation. A simple twist of the top opens the sharpener to empty the shavings. A nice quality pencil sharpener versatile and convenient.

This pencil sharpener is genuinely impressive. It plugs in and starts with a red light, then the moment you insert a pencil it pulls the pencil in on its own, sharpens it automatically, and then pushes it back out when it’s done. While sharpening, the light turns blue, and when it’s finished it goes back to red. It feels very smooth and controlled — no over-sharpening.
I love that it has a sharpness selector, so you can choose exactly how sharp you want your pencil. It works beautifully on both regular pencils and colored pencils, and so far it hasn’t dulled the blade at all — which is something I’ve had happen with other sharpeners when using colored pencils.
It also has a clear window so you can easily see when the shavings need to be emptied. I believe the top removes for emptying, though I haven’t needed to do that yet.
The only minor downside for me is that the light stays bright red when it’s idle, which isn’t my favorite aesthetically, but it’s not a dealbreaker. Also, the power cord does not include the wall plug, so you’ll need your own.
Overall, this is a powerful, well-designed sharpener that feels absolutely worth the price.

This is not your father's pencil sharpener! This is really nice. It charges with USB-C and hold a charge for many sharpenings. You can see on picture three that it has a dial which you can use to set how sharp it will trim the pencil. That way you can use it for a variety of thick & thin purposes. It is light and has a convenient handle. It is a very nice tool and easy to use. It is a good value for the price. I recommend it.

Love it!!! I especially love the ability to change the sharpness tips of my pencils and two have auto sharpening feature!
