Small , sharpens fast , do not need to hold pencils while sharpening.

The unit is compact and very easy to use. You do not need to use any force when inserting the colored pencils. This sharper gets the colored pencil point very sharp without breaking constantly. This is just what I needed to sharpen my colored pencils in comparison to standard pencil sharpeners. I’m very satisfied with my purchase.

I love this sharpener. Easy to use. Gives your pencils a very nice point. The compartment that collects the shavings is easy to remove for emptying. Great little item.

I needed an automatic pencil sharpener for my daughter and this fit the bill perfectly. It doesn’t oversharpen and it sharpens the pencil in a reasonable manner. Having to be battery operated or connected to an outlet provides an awesome amount of flexibility.

This is a must have in a classroom! Be sure to not push the pencil in- it does it all on its own! Love this item!

The ease of this sharpener is awesome! I like that you put a dull pencil in and it does the rest. The pencil tip is sharp. I did tap the end after sharpening to prevent students from getting poked. It is important to let the sharpener grab the pencil and not force it into the sharpener.

This sharpener is easy to use and safe for the kids. It also keeps the pencil from being over sharpen.

This is a MUST HAVE! My prized possession! I’m a teacher and was tired of my students jamming pencils into the sharpener and turning their pencils into nubs, so I bought this sharpener! It cuts down on so much time, noise, AND our pencils last much longer!

I love this pencil sharpener.

Love this sharpener. I use it for Crayola, RoseArt, Prismacolor Verithin, various drawing pencils, and standard school graphite pencils. I haven’t used it for the softer varieties of colored pencils, such as premium Prismacolor and Derwent because the cores of the pencils break easily with a handheld sharpener. This sharpener produces ver long tips and is very easy to clean out the shavings. There is an option for battery use but I haven’t yet used that feature. I definitely recommend this device for sharpening pencils however, do use caution when allow a child to use it. It does stop and raise the pencil when the point is perfect; a fantastic feature to prevent over sharpening.

My gr granddaughter is 7 and thus worked great for her.i was impressed myself watching it work with no hands.

This is perfect for kids and adults to sharpen pencils. You push it in and let go and it does the rest just like the video!! It’s about time something works just like it’s advertised!!

I bought this for my classroom & was amazed. I love the battery powered option because we are able to move it anywhere. The way it works is great and so high tech! Not only was I amazed but my students are absolutely obsessed with it and fight over using it lol

Really nice little pencil sharpener! If you are reading the reviews before you buy a pencil sharpener, you are probably the type of person who understands that having a quality product even with the most mundane items is crucial! The quality of life that is facilitated by stuff JUST WORKING RIGHT is immeasurable. You don't have time to troubleshoot and fix little problems like your sharpener not working.
This afmat auto sharpener is great for someone who don't need a fancy, pretty colored, overpriced headache. It works every time and it works well. The shaving box hardly ever needs to be emptied. It dont make a mess. The auto sharpen feature actually is a nice addition. You just pop your lil pencil in there and it pops back out the exact same sharpness every single time!

This is the best pencil sharpener I have ever used! It runs on batteries or plugged in. It is amazing how well it works. You just insert a pencil in the top and let go of it. The sharpener starts up by itself, pulls the pencil down inside, sharpens it, then it pushes the pencil back up so you can get it. You don't do anything while it is sharpening. This is great for children and adults. It makes the pencils sharp with little effort. This would be great for teachers to have in their classrooms for school children to use to sharpen their pencils. Everyone I have showed it too are amazed how it works with NO EFFORT ON YOUR PART to sharpen pencils!

I have used several different sharpeners and this one is great. You just set the pencil lightly in the hole and it grabs it, lowers it down to sharpen to a very long sharp point and then ejecs it to you. A bit noisy but it sure works well. Prismacolor does not work well and are too delicate for it so don't try. Very hard graphite hard wood does not sharpen to a point. It just grinds it and then I try my hand one to get a point. Overall, I Love it. Not for kids, as the points are lethal sharp. I actually stabbed myself while reaching over a cup of pencils. Drew blood. So easy and quick to use.

This is the coolest little pencil sharpener. It’s super loud but it’s very efficient.

I have saved so much time in my classroom now that my students can independently! It also can use batteries so it doesn't take up prescious outlet space! We use colored pencils daily and it can sharpen little pencils too! After I saw how great it was I put it on my wishlist and now we have 2. The students love to use it and ask to sharpen when we have extra time. I love it and highly recommend.

I got this to keep my colored pencils sharpened. There is no effort in the sharpening process. You just set the pencil in hole, let go and let the sharpener do all the work. When it’s done the sharpener will send the pencil back up for you to lift out. Voila, a perfect tip every time.

That it will sharpen colored pencils as well as the regular lead pencils. I love mine.
