THE best pencil sharpener I've had. Though advertised for classroom, I/we use this at home. Heavy, super-efficient, easy to use, takes 1.5 seconds to sharpen a pencil (literally), grips the counter top, and looks sleek and modern, not cheap. I can't say enough. It takes up a bit of space but I have the feeling that it should last. Love it!
It works brilliantly for me. I don’t let my students use it because since middle schooler is going to put their Pencil in backwards and destroy it like the last 2 sharpeners I’ve purchased. But it works well for me.
We would regularly have dull pencils. Actually a joy to find one now, just to sharpen it. Have had for a few months now and it sharpens to a point ever time. Even alert us to when its done by now longer sharpening. Not sure how it knows but the pressure on the pencil is reduced.

Excellent, electric sharpener! Does a beautiful job sharpening all pencils, even cheaper ones that never seem to sharpen when I use a small, manual pencil sharpener. Quick and efficient!
Good product, sharpens the most fragile pencils, putting on a fine point. It's heavy, doesn't shift around as you are pushing pencil after pencil into its' throat. Easily cleans up, dump the bin, replace, no shavings left around on your desk or table.
I bought it for my art class. Works excellent. Sharpens very fast, great with pencils and color pencils, although you have to be careful with color pencils because if they have been dropped the color while sharpening will get stuck inside. It takes less than 2 minutes to open and push the point out before you sharpen to a perfect point again. The shaving collector is small for my preference. I might make my own setup to have it working with something logged inside so it can detect that it is in place and have the shavings just drop to the side in a box.
This is a nice pencil sharpener for the price. When we received it, we immediately sharpened all pencils already in use, and it worked perfectly on all of them. This sharpener is good for personal or family use. Perhaps not so good for an entire classroom because the waste collection bin is not large.
