4th grade teacher here! If I could give this thing more than 5 stars I would! Its pricey and I couldn't afford it , but I saved up points and only paid $12 out of pocket and was excited. The real excitement came when I plugged it in and sharpened my first pencil. I sharpened every pencil in the classroom giggling and having a good Ole time! Then at the end of the day I sharpened all of the colored pencils for funsies! I legit love sharpening pencils now! They sharpened evenly and perfectly abd they dont break. I can't say enough good things about this sharpener! Buy it!

This lil sharpener is a new helper for sure. What we love most is that he eats pencils properly and even hands them back when he has his fill. The pencils are DEFINITELY SHARP (better than i can do as an adult with a hand held sharpener - i mean duh but still). Emptying is sorta tricky but its also not impossible to operate. The overall size is wider than a tube of tennis balls but not as tall.

My teacher daughter loves this sharpener. It is super fun and sharpens to the perfect point and stops. I am thinking to get one and home for the grandkids. It is pricey but think it is worth the price.

This is a super fun pencil sharpener for kids and adults! After sharpening about 30 pencils at one go, they all came out perfect. It may be a bit pricey, but it is worth not wasting the pencils every time you sharpen one.

I had to hide this from my students because they love it so much and I’m scared they’ll break it. It makes sharpening easy, pencil sharpness it on point (ha!), I charged it when I first got it used it for 2 weeks (sharpening everyday) until it needed to be sharped again. It’s worth the price!

The great features of this pencil sharpener are the auto feed and auto-eject of the pencil. Just a little push of the pencil into the hole of the sharpener to start the machine; it will sharpen and eject the pencil when done. Unlike my old electrical one, I had to press on the pencil for it to work, and sometimes, it unevenly sharpened the wooden part and the lead core.
This one is chargeable and can move anywhere needed, which is very convenient when working within a group sitting around the table. I like the three sharpness options – sharp, medium, and blunt tip. To me, the sharp and medium tips are very similar. I wish the medium tip were slightly shorter and sharpened at a wide angle to avoid wasting too much of the pencil. Also, the indicators of the adjustment of the point sharpness could be painted in white to be more visible than the same black color of the knob.

I purchased this pencil sharpener to use in my classroom that would be student-friendly and allow them to safely sharpen their pencil with out having to jam their pencil in to sharpen it or possibly apply too much pressure in the pencil sharpener and have it break off inside the pencil sharpener, like I have had happen with other pencil sharpeners I have purchased in the past. This product has been going strong for about a month now, and it is extremely easy to use as well as empty the contents once it is full. I also like the fact that it easily sharpens all types of pencils, including colored pencils. The robot pencil sharpener looks kid-friendly and is fairly quiet, so it does not disturb instruction or independent tasks of students. The happy robot is a bright purple color, and regarding the power source, it does use a USB adapter. The only down side to the product is that it does not come with a cube to plug the charger into.

I'm a teacher, so this sharpener is used A LOT (anytime someone wants an excuse to get out of his/her seat). This works better and has held up better than any other sharpener I've had in the past 20 years (well-known brands). A student bought this for me because my previous sharpener was not acting right after only 4-5 months. BEST teacher gift EVER!
