I use this in my classroom. There is A LOT of daily paperwork that must be completed and filed. This little gem is a life saver.
Pros: Love that I can plug it in or use batteries. Adjusts easily. It can punch holes in about 10 papers at a time. Any more than 10, it sounds like It's struggling.
Cons: The reservoir that holds the little hole punches at the bottom is not easy to empty. And, you NEED to empty it often. This is my second hole punch. The first one I neglected to empty it like I should, and one of the hole punchers got jammed. I tried in vain to unscrew the bottom to clean it out, but the screws would not yield. I finally had to admit defeat, throw it away, and order another one. However, this is not much of a con as i ordered the exact same model as before.

Came quickly, plugged in and it worked immediately.

This is great for my desk. It punches holes like nobody's business. It does take some time to get used to and adjust to the right height for a binder. It is a little loud but its a great compromise to having a huge hole punch taking up a lot of space on your desk

I had a manual hole puncher and decided it was time to try an electric one. This item is well built, sturdy, and has a pull out ruler to measure your page size. Multiple pages slide right in. Push the button and done. Priced well, the time saved is well worth it.

I'll give it a 8 out of 10. What would make this better is a metal inner frame. I like that fact that it's electrical and also battery powered.

Received this today and immediately put it to use. My manual 3 hole punch which is 60 years old (it was my father's when he designed spaceship parts for the Apollo series spaceships) and has seen a ton of action is now on shelf, sitting and looking pretty. People! This electric 3 hole punch is fantastic - seriously, I can't believe I've waited this long to buy one. It does exactly as it states in the description and goes through multiply layers of paper (I use 60# weight for printing out quilt patterns) like slicing through butter with a hot knife. It went through a ream of paper within minutes. This is an excellent product for anyone especially someone like me that has arthritis in their elbows and shoulders. It's also easy to clean the trap and can run on batteries but I used the electric cord that plugs in to the back. Highly recommend.

Update as of October 5, 2024: I had to contact AFMAT Customer Service when it suddenly stopped working and although I followed the instructions from the Owner's Manual I wasn't able to get it to start working properly again. The middle punch worked but both of the end punches were stuck. Miranda contacted me and is replacing the product. Very responsive and satisfied with the customer service.

I can’t say enough about how much I love this 3 hole punch. It is easy to operate just a push of a button and it works seamlessly.

I spent too many hours three-hole punching my session handbooks because I am that type of guy. I am unsure what inspired me to research an electric hole puncher, but I appreciate that invisible muse. This saves time and slows any carpel tunnel syndrome problem if I do this manually. I'm punching 300 manuals ( 50 pages each), so it is getting real test. So far, I am very happy and getting into the groove of how many pages make it simple versus the slight pause as it thinks about if it can punch the holes. It could break down now, and I would still be happy about the wrists that are not sore from doing it manually.
