This is a wonderful product. I use a lot of colored pencils which are wax based, and this eraser removes every last bit. It comes with lots of refillable erasers. The on button is pretty sensitive, so be careful in those small detailed areas of a project. Very happy to have found this electric eraser.

At first, I thought, “an electric eraser, how lazy”, but after I used it and saw how clean my paper was, I wonder why I didn’t buy this a long time ago. The little eraser inserts last a long time, they’re soft enough where they won’t tear your paper up, and it’s fun to use. If you’re an artist, it’s a must have.

This is life changing. I sketch on a canvas and then paint it, and it is so much easier if i can clean it up before painting. This picture doesn't show how awesome this eraser works but it works GREAT for tiny details like these.

It is great for charcoal. That is the whole reason I got it. Here is what I did with it.

Works good. Fantastic for erasing hard spots. I tried it with my soft charcoal pencil and my 8B graphite pencil. Make sure you hard a hard grip on it because it can sometimes "slip" a tiny bit because of the sudden friction.

Also you have to hold down the button as you erase. Once you let go, the erasing stops
