Wow, why did I not have one of these years ago. If you are ever needing to hole punch a bunch of papers.......do yourself a favor and get yourself one of these. It is worth the price (36.99) I purchase old electronics and fix them. Part of the time I am needing a schematic of the circuit board and such, so I print off the manual to go with these electronic devices. Then I punch the holes and place them into either 3 ring binders or those little 3 prong folders. It is a long and tedious process only being able to run a few pages at a time through my little 3 hole punch. This is wonderful at saving yourself time & effort. This should last the rest of my lifetime and more, very well built, heavy duty hole punch.

This is a great hole puncher that works well for my home office. I love how compact it is and how it can fit into a small corner and not take up too much space. The lock feature is pretty cool because it allows the hole puncher to be compacted and not have the handle up, it's in a down position instead. I'd recommend this hole punch to anyone with a small space in their home or work office but need this tool for punching holes within their documents.

The AFMAT Heavy Duty 3 hole punch works great. It's solidly built with heavy gauge metal that should last a long time. I filled it to capacity with forty sheets of copy paper and, although it took a little muscle to do it, it punched cleanly through all 40 sheets. The stainless steel paper guide works well guiding the paper to the proper placement of the holes to be punched. Overall, the Afmat hole punch is a good value for the money.

This is a must have for every office! It's adjustable to accommodate different size holes, and it is so easy to use. It's not lightweight, or cheap. It's quality made, and accurate. I think it's a good value for your money.

This 3-hole puncher is really solid and heavy duty. It can punch through 40 sheets of paper at once without any trouble. It's well made and works exactly as advertised. No complaint.

Works great, smooth push, I might have been off a few pages, I just grabbed them in stacks that fit in the opening but it worked like a champ. In my youth I worked at a office supply store, and this seems as good as anything they had .

My kids are always looking for a three hole puncher and this machine really is fabulous at hole punching. I have stapled about 30 pages super easily. It is a heavier punch so you might want to find a spot for it and keep it there. I love that I can hole punching items all at the same time and so it has saved me so much time. Thus far I have not had any issues with it and it it does what it is supposed to do.

I have another 3-hole punch, and this AFMAT punch is much heavier duty. It has one guide that allows me to center the holes. Keep in mind that the rating for 40 sheets only applies if you're using regular typing paper. When using 24-lb. paper, I was able to easily punch holes in 30 sheets.

This heavy duty 3 hole punch made it easier for me to make a binder faster. Since I could do a large stack of papers at one time, instead of multiple times for little bits of the same stack. It didn't take much more effort than a normal hole punch to go through the whole stack than it would for a small stack in the standard hole punch. I like that it has a tray at the bottom that snaps on/off the base to collect the holes that are punched out. It makes clean up easy!

This hole punch just might be the last one I buy for my home. It is well-crafted and strong. The scale for setting the paper size is accurate. The punching mechanism is smooth and easy. It is a little large for home use (it is probably more suitable for school or office), but I will willingly trade size for dependability. Overall, I am pleased.

Bottom Line from the Bibliophile: Recommended

My business is technical documentation, and although electronic devices and PDF files are the vast majority of our publications, many are still very thick binders of paper. Our previous heavy duty whole punch cost 2 to 3 times what this hole punch did, and this hole punch has outperformed our big name and expensive punch. This is now our go to, and it does easily pierce a stack of 20 to 30 pages with very little effort. The chip tray is very convenient and easy to use. I believe it will outlast the mechanism on the more expensive model which uses a metal swing arm that usually loses its detent and opens up by accident all the time. Couldn’t be happier. I will likely be buying more of these in the future. If we discover any problems with materials or workmanship, I will certainly update the review. For now, I highly recommend this hole punch.

This 3 hole puncher is a seriously nice upgrade from my old tired one. This 3 hole puncher is exactly as advertised, it is so much easier to punch holes in documents. It is quite large with a big base that sits more stable on a flat surface making it easier to punch holes through a bigger set of papers. It is well made and very solid.

This 3 hole puncher is a serious piece of office equipment. If you have to handle a lot of documents and are in need of punching holes in the documents so you can store them in binders then you will absolutely want to get one of these. It is that good, and it is worth having in your office supply cupboard.

I got this for my wife, who has often complained about her dinky 3 hole punch that can handle about 5 sheets at a time. She has loved this new robust punch! There's enough room for 40 sheets of paper, and there's plenty of leverage provided by the press-down lever. She has only used it for around 20 sheets so far, but it was so easy to punch 3 holes in them. She has no doubt that it can handle many more sheets. She's thrilled to have it in her office and recommends it to anyone who has suffered the frustration of the dinky 5-page punches you get from the discount store. She gives it 5 stars, without question.

I was skeptical ordering this 3 hole punch but I am well satisfied. It is better than our punches in the office which apparently have seen better days. This punch cuts quick and easy with a 3 to 5 sheets of paper. This will be used in our home office and we rarely would be punching more than that at a time. This takes little space and is surprisingly heavy duty. It is adjustable so the pages align well, a tray collects the chads, the holes are standard size and set for a standard 3 hole notebook. What else could you want. Good price also.

Working for a government agency, you find out that technology is not at the forefront of record keeping. So when doing reports and other assorted paperwork, a 3 hole punch is needed. The one we have is your basic one that can do about 5 sheets at 1 time. I got this one and it is beefy and heavy duty. It can do up to 30 sheets at one time, and with the heavy construction and big handle its not an issue to do those 30 pages.
Extremely well made and capable of handling multiple pages this has saved me a ton of time in my office keeping al the paperwork in the binders we use for record keeping.
