I have had one of these for more than four years. Just bought a new one for a fellow artist.

The best pencil sharpener money can buy. Stops when your pencil is sharp (adjustable setting). The old one still works as well as when it was new.

Emptying the shavings without making a mess is a little tricky.

I have owned several electric pencil sharpeners and after doing a lot of research and watching many videos I decided to give this sharpener a try. I am incredibly happy with my purchase. All the reviews I have read have been right on. This sharpener offers so many features compared to others in this price range. This is definitely a professional-quality sharpener. This company listens to it's customers and makes the recommended changes to make this the perfect sharpener for all pencils. It offers two separate holes to accommodate all pencils. It has auto stop when the perfect point is reached and prevents oversharpening which leads to lead breakage. It has five different nib options from an extreme point to a blunt lead. It really has covered all the options one would need in sharpening any pencil you would want to use. The only pencils it does not recommend you use with this sharpener are those with a soft core, although I have used it to sharpen soft-cored pencils without issue. I just set the nib to the lowest possible. I could not recommend another electric sharpener over this one. If you are on the fence on this sharpener, just get it. You will not be disappointed.

I got my first one in 2020 and had to replace it due to my kids sticking eho knows what down it. I had to get a 2nd one. Rechargeable & sharpens perfectly. The point is long, but it does not break even with heavy pressing. Really glad to have this for artwork.

AMAZING LONG SHARP POINTS! No breaking of leads. I am going through all my collected pencils - most which I thought were just poor quality- and they are like new with their shiny new points. Very happy with this.

Well, if you're like me, you've been looking for a decent pencil sharpener, for yard pencils, your mechalion, or your charcoals, your pastels, your colored pencils, soft lead like a folding b or softer, this thing puts it into a needle pinpoint sharpness, in the flicker. Die's flat, I have a oil base. White pin or pencil? It's so soft that you can barely sharpen it with a sharp knife. I stuck that sucker in there and I got such a fine pinpoint. You could use it to give vaccinations. So please tickle pink, if you need these perfect pencil sharpener, for long, fine point sharpness, this is the place to go beautiful colors, great price, and it's either USB or battery. Super cool. It's about four and a half inches tall, and it's got about a two and a half inch diameter, blue and black, really nice.You're one you'll be tickled bink it's cheesy the easy to empty out. And the lead is sharpened in such a way that it doesn't break real easy, it's really cool. I'm totally impressed with it. Alright, the power is plug or battery. Yippy

My favorite pencil sharpener. I never thought I would have a fave pencil sharpener but I love that this one has options for a normal tip length and an elongated one. It comes with the charging cable tucked inside the bottom compartment that you need a screwdriver to get into. Just fyi. Easy to use, one handed use, works only when pencil inserted then stops automatically. Durable and good quality.

This sharpener does what it suppose to do. doesn’t work really well with pastel pencils.
It’s designed to work with charcoal pencils. give it a try. good value for your money.

I saw that someone said something about this sharpener not being good for Prisma colored pencils nor charcoal. I beg to differ. The only reason why you may experience this sharpener eating up your pencils is simply because of the lack of led protection within these pencils that you have. For example, if you’ve dropped your pencil a few times or even once, and the barrow of your pencil is hollow, then you will experience frequent breakage. And with Prisma color and soft charcoals, you will have a higher chance of breakage anyways is because the consistency is soft and smooth. But, as long as the pencil led within the barrow of your pencils are in tact, then you shall be fine. I will recommend this pencil sharpener for artists as I am an artist myself and have been wanting a sharpener for a while that offers a high quality long sharp point which is essential for details! The only down side of this product is that I so happened to have received a used/returned product. Because when I opened it, there was already pencil shavings inside therefore I was already bound to be disappointed. And there is occasional weird bumping? Like if I were sharpening I would feel it jolt upward sometimes. However, the quality of this pencil sharpener has won me over lol. Definitely buy this! Just wouldn’t recommend soft charcoal pencils unless it’s a good brand and that the charcoal although soft, still won’t be too soft to be eaten up by this beast.
