This contact paper solved so many problems I had in my underfunded classroom. I couldn't remove the chalkboards. I considered mounting whiteboards over the blackboards, but wanted to retain the magnetic base. This product applied smoothly onto the chalkboard surface. It takes the marker just as well as a classic whiteboard. I was concerned about ghosting (marks not fully erasing) over time, especially on items like the bell schedule, which remains visible all year. However, I use a simple whiteboard cleaner spray on it, and there has never been any ghosting. It would likely ghost without the spray. It came with markers, eraser cloths, and a plastic smoothing tool, as well as a fun feature of the box converting into a marker/spray holder that can be mounted on the wall. Fantastic value for the money that solved my immediate problem. I have also used strips of it on my large floor-to-ceiling cabinets. When I removed it from the cabinets, there was some residue, but it came off with Goo Gone & no finish damage. (I would recommend having a person help you install it to avoid bubbles.)

I wanted a larger area covered so I bought 2 packs, even so, it is narrow and so I had to put it up in vertical strips! I thought I would hate it, but it actually doesn't bother me at all. I put it up over an old chalkboard, cleaned as best I could with soap and water, and it's been 4 months of daily use. I've seen no staining or wear and tear on it! It cleans up easily, there is no lifting on it anywhere. The markers it came with are still working, though I have also purchased others for more colors and they have come off easily too. Overall, I am super happy with the product! I do think it's a two person job to put up - me and hubby got it up pretty quickly! We did get one or two very small air bubbles in it, but they worked themselves out completely in a day or two! I really love it in my room now!

The white board works very well. It writes on smoothly and erases easily. The markers that are included do work really well. When putting the board up it was not easy to peel back and start again. It took two people to install and make sure it was right before it stuck. There is more than I needed included and have leftovers in case I want to add more.

Easy to install by yourself (even though it says 2 people) and looks great on my small group table. The markers it comes with aren’t the best, but work fine. The paper itself is very thick and seems like it will last a long time.

I have tried several different brands and this is the best one I've tried. I have gone back and bought more. The adhesion does not last forever if it's on a heavily used surface like a table. But it will last a long time on a wall. The quality of the board itself is great. It erases fully even after years of use. My last one was scratched from being used so much but still erased perfectly. It also comes with really good board erasers and application tools.

I’ve had this for a few years now, a large portion in my young son’s room and another piece in the spare room. It hasn’t lost its stickiness and it still cleans off very well. I do use the Expo brand whiteboard cleaner on it occasionally, so maybe that helps. It was really easy to install, just measure the size you want, cut with regular scissors, peel off the backing, and stick it up!

coming from somebody who wasted over $100 on whiteboard paint that did not work at all, I was very scared to order this and it not meet my standards. I ordered the pack of 2 and as you can see it covered the whole wall that I wanted to use (besides that small strip in the corner but close enough). I applied it completely on my own , no wrinkles or air bubbles . I do not use the markers it came with I have my own expo markers and not a smudge gets left behind when it's time to erase. I do not use whiteboard cleaner either. it looks and feels just like a classroom whiteboard ! I highly recommend .

Got this to put on my garage wall to write my workouts on and it really works great! I wasn’t sure how it would stick to the wall but it adheres really well!

I've gotten these over and over again to completely cover my walls when I move. Student must have. I've tried other brands and they're too heavy and fall off, this one is perfect

I used it to cover classroom tables to turn them into dry erase tables. Easy to put on and no bubbles to smooth out! The markers are pretty thin but all dry erase markers work on it and no ghosting when you wipe it away!

I purchased this last year for my classroom which only has chalkboards at the front. It held up perfectly and cleans off well. When I moved classrooms this fall, I purchased more for my new location because it's a great product. The markers are great quality. It's easy to apply, easy to clean, and adheres very well.

I put this on all the tables in my classroom. It was super easy to “install” and I use it with my students all the time. Any ghosting effect goes away when you clean it with a spray or a Clorox wipe and after a trimester of pretty heavy use, they are still looking good!

It worked for me. In my experience, if you use your Vinyl Felt Edge Squeegee (included) correctly, you will get the best chances to succeed when applying this dry erase paper on any flat surface. I followed the instructions and all I had to do was to peel about 7 inches and then push the air and bubbles out with the squeegee out towards your roll. Watch my included video to see a quick example of my technique.
Other than that, it is just a matter of cutting your desired size.
I used two rolls to cover one side of my chalkboard room divider and each roll was enough for 4 pieces sizes 13 1/4 inches wide by 66 1/2 inches long.
I am pretty happy with the results but again, using the squeegee every 7 inches was key.
Mr. Beast uses this kind of rolls all over his giant studios. It is a budget option that will save you money and space on unnecessary white boards. Give it a go!

I put this on my students desks and this is an excellent product. Wow. I really love it. No white boards on the floor. I just cut it into pieces. I also have this on my kidney desk. I will definitely buy more of this. DO NOT get the cheaper version of this. It does not have good adhesion. This is the best.

I needed to create a whiteboard in my room to cover my old chalk board. It went above my expectations. First off, it came with dry erase markers, a cloth to wipe the surface you apply it on and even a cute little scrapper to apply it and take out the bubbles. It was so easy to apply and so much easier with the application tools that came with it. Very clear instructions and very organized. Love love love this purchase. Best purchase ever. Attention all teachers. . You need this!

We have an ugly dining table. We also have 2 school age children,7 & 9. We covered the whole table top. Now when children are doing homework and encounter a problem they can work it out using dry erase markers and wipe it right off. They use it for creative play and markers to clean we use a microfiber cloth and dry erase cleaner. It looks great, food wipes of easily with damp cloth. If you do this I recommend overlaling the edges below the top edge as they tend to curl up.

Very nice addition to the room! Comes with 6 markers, a box marker holder, two wipes with command-like hooks, and the whiteboard wallpaper which was very easy to apply with the adhesive scraper!

After reading some of the reviews, I was concerned However, these are excellent. Erase well and stick well. I did not use the accompanying markers. I used expo markers and have not had any issues

I've used other brands, but this is by far the best. As a math teacher, I cover student desks to eliminate the need for scrap paper. The rolls are heavier than other brands and stick well. To remove, I use goo gone to clean any residue. There is no shadowing after 9 weeks of daily use. Very please and will continue to purchase.
